Program Description

Event Details

STEM Seeds is a non-profit organization encouraging youth to explore STEM through fun science experiments. By associating science with exciting concepts, instead of boring textbooks, we can create the scientists of the future! The current locations are Whitehall Public Library, BCAP, SHIM, ICP, and Attawheed. We are always trying to branch out and plant more seeds of STEM throughout Pittsburgh! With new experiments and lessons at least monthly, we are sure to touch on every part of STEM!

Project: "What's the Matter with Slime?"

Our first experiment is usually "What's the Matter with Slime?", where we teach the type of matter of slime. We also hold science fairs, such as the Science Invention Project, where students create an imaginary invention using science. However, we have much more experiments and demonstrations we do to plant seeds of STEM in the youth of the future!

Ages 6-11

Registration required.
