Event Details

The Battle of Homestead, Pennsylvania on July 6th, 1892, was one of the most pivotal moments in American labor history. More than 130 years after it occurred, the Homestead Strike of 1892 retains its capacity to shock. It was a defining event that revealed in the starkest terms the respective strength of labor and management in America in the 1890s. Join us at the Baldwin Library for this special presentation and an in-depth Q&A about this historic event.

Presenter: Jerry Fitzgibbon

Light refreshments will be provided.
